I guess audio submissions take a kella long time to process for "first timers" . i submitted my first audio piece, and despite the fact that i am highly impatient, it is taking a long ass time :(

Usually about 5 to ten minutes , but it all depends on the file size 2 megs takes about 6 to 7 mins.

How long have you been waiting? It could days, even weeks for first-time submissions to be approved.
Try contacting an Audio Mod and ask them to approve your music. It could speed the process a little, hopefully. If you don't who the mods are, check in the FAQ.
