Open

You left a lot open for interpretation. The way i see it, is this main character guy is the last with hop,e and at the end, he finally loses it, and that "up tower" thing represents death or suicide, and he finally got on bored the band wagon with everyone else, killing themselves slowly because they all lost faith in something.

Awesome

You should definitely make a superhero clock series :) that would be awesome! This little short snip-it was great, good animation and action, a little rough around the edges, but with time comes more artistic skills!!

Stupendous

I agree with desertmissile17's interpretation... it seemed as if the man wanted to die... but with in the one moment between two people... it brought about such strong feeling. good stuff and great creativity!

Heart Wrenchingly Magnificent

That brought tears to my eyes. All so true to the life of music. This movie really portrays that the name may die, but the music always lives on in the musician. nice touch.

sweet

love the camera angling and circling effects. good stuff.

Ridiculously Funny

I couldn't stop laughing, very funny and a REALLY creative, "More realistical" bambi keep the good stuff rollin.

A Shame

It is a true shame that people steal others awesome, time consuming, work and art.... As however, i hope that the word gets out who the original maker of Charlie The Unicorn is, although there have been some funny remakes, no credit was given to the original maker :( The toon rocks, and is a laugh and a half. Keep the good stuff coming :)

oh boy...

It's far too cliche with modern grotesque, completely ruining the whole genre of noir that you wished to classify it as. may i suggest a little more imagination, and less.... modern swinery, if you will, the next time you attempt something like this. :)

TheStarSyndicate responds:

ok, fine. noir is a cliche. but imo, modern swinery is not. my point in making it i guess was to use the structure of a classical film genre and soil it with the vulgarities and sexual deviance of the real world, which were present back then but not as prevalent as they are today. so in a way this is like a hyper subversive neonoir. i hadnt seen one done before, and obviously not everyone thinks it ruins the genre to make it slightly more crass

second, its not really as much a tribute to noir as its a tribute to a newgrounds crew. so it really wasnt made to please any pretentious film noir geeks like yourself anyways! it was made for SS members

Mixed Emotions

both the song and vid were snazzy but, "noir" went with each other.... ohhh... high five for bad puns... Maybe, less upbeat song, or more upbeat vid. all in all i still liked it :)
